This website has been created as a journal for ourselves, recording our travels around the world since retiring from full time work in 2014. After our first trip, friends showed an interest in following our journeys while we were away, so we have played around with online blogs for a while. This is the 3rd evolution. 

The background picture on top of each page is Glenelg, our home. Even at home we still feel as though we are on holiday!!!

Welcome to Our Current Adventure

2025 -We are now back into travel mode and have booked a trip to Europe again, this time visiting Scandinavia, Ireland and Scotland. We leave in August and the first part of our trip is a TripADeal tour, inclunding, a first for us, a seven day cruise.

2023 Europe

Our journey through Turkey, Greece and Italy, starting on August 17th 2023 for around 8 weeks. 3 rental cars, 4 plane trips, 4 ferries and mulitple bus and train rides. Ancient sites and large bustling cities - it was a great trip!

2019 USA Canada

2018 USA

September 2018, Tania's uncle asked Graeme to accompany him on a trip to mid-west USA. A great road trip ! But not covered on this web site at present - a future project.

2017 Europe

August 2017 - We had planned to walk the Camino with friends, who weren't able to make it. So we decided to try it by ourselves and started training months before, purchased hiking gear and set off on a 280km. 12 day walk up the coast of Portugal and Spain. After our wlk, we flew to Berlin and commenced an 8 week, 18 country trip around Europe. Has a few days stopover in Singapore on the way home.

2016 Tasmania

Our off year from overseas, hired a campervan and spent 16 days down in Tassie ! Once again a future project to be worked for this site.

2015 Europe

August 2015 - We booked plane flights to fly into Barcelona and fly home from London. We then had to fill in the gaps, startiing with the Trafalgar Tour beginning and ending in Madrid, A breather in Taragona, then train to Cacasonne in France where we picked up a hire car. We drove through southern region of France, into Italy as far east as Venice. We then looped back dropping our car off in Lyon. Train to Paris for a few days, then Eurostar to London where we picked up another hire car and drove north right up to Edinburgh before returning our car back to London and flying out via Dubai to home
